The Diablo 4 Season 10 PTR is still a few days away, but the latest reveal is already causing a few big discussions in the community. A Reddit thread with hundreds of comments shows exactly what players are most hyped about and which parts still have them concerned.
Chaos Uniques Are A Big Win
The biggest talking point everyone seems to be very focused on is definitely Chaos Uniques, a new seasonal-only system that lets certain uniques roll in different armor slots. For example, a Sorcerer could wear Raiment of the Infinite and
Shroud of False Death at the same time, or a Druid could stack shapeshifting bonuses for crazy synergies.
- Limited to helm, chest, gloves, pants, and boots.
- Makes unique combinations possible that have never existed in Diablo 4 before.
Most players in the discussion say they want Chaos Uniques to stick around permanently, believing it could keep builds feeling interesting and “fresh” for many seasons to come.
Infernal Hordes Overhaul
Season 10 also gives Infernal Hordes a complete makeover with new Horde-only enemies, a pre-Torment version for earlier progression, and a gamble mechanic where you can spend all your Aether to challenge Bartuc, the Warlord of Blood, for special rewards.

The reception to this is mostly positive… so far, but some players wonder if Bartuc will be too difficult or something that requires group play.
Other Changes and Missing Features
- Chaos Perks replace seasonal powers, which will offer build-specific bonuses. Players say this feels like “borrowed power,” but many like the synergy with Chaos Uniques.
- New class-specific uniques, including a Rogue crossbow, Barbarian weapon, and Druid companion gear.
- Still no changes for Masterworking, Tempering, or stash space – three of the most common community requests.
- Quality-of-life updates include auto-resummoning Necro minions and a PTR Paragon cap of 200 for more realistic testing.
What Players Still Hope For
Even with these updates, there is still a long list of requests for Diablo 4: loot filters, more stash tabs, better glyph XP outside The Pit, and even a Kanai’s Cube-style power extraction system.
