<p>These have received some changes since we first saw them on the 2.0 PTR, all of which were revealed today. So, let&#8217;s take a look at all the new toys we get to play with! Blizzard have also added more connections to existing passives in the skill trees for even more customization options. </p>

Major Barbarian Changes in Diablo 4 Patch 2.0.1 and 2.0.2


<p>Blizzard confirmed <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/guides/gauntlet-guide/">The Gauntlet</a> won&#8217;t be returning in Season 6.</p>



<p>During the <a href="https://www.icy-veins.com/d4/news/vessel-of-hatred-pre-launch-developer-update-everything-you-need-to-know/">Vessel of Hatred pre-launch livestream</a>, Blizzard confirmed The Gauntlet would not return in the new expansion. With it, Leaderboards will be gone too. The developers specifically mentioned they will look into implementing Leaderboards in the game when it makes sense.</p>

<p>The Dark Citadel raid is Diablo 4&#8217;s first cooperative dungeon, where you have to go in with at least one other player. Amonth the many rewards it offers, from ancestral Uniques to special scrolls, there is one tier of reward that stands out. </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Hardest Content Has the Coolest Rewards</h2>



<p>If you manage to brave all three dungeons that comprise the Dark Citadel on the game&#8217;s hardest difficulty, you will be rewarded by some awesome cosmetics. First off we have special cosmetics for each class! </p>

<p>Blizzard revealed many Spiritborn Unique items during today&#8217;s Vessel of Hatred pre-launch stream! </p>



<p>We got to see not only a bunch of reworked items since the PTR, but all the Unique (and one Mythic Unique) glaives, the Spiritborn-specific weapon type! Let&#8217;s dive in. </p>

<p>One of the more welcome news to come out of the pre-launch Vessel of Hatred stream is less clutter coming! </p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Salvage Difficulty</h2>



<p>Blizzard announced that starting at Torment 1, the first very hard difficulty threshold, rare and magic items will be auto-salvaged. This means you will only be seeing the materials they salvage into, which are then auto-picked up! Veiled Crystals and similar galore! </p>



<p>This will not happen in the first four difficulties, and you&#8217;ll have to unlock Torment instead. </p>

<p>Torment difficulty is unlocked by defeating the Pit level 20, and the Pit opens up at level 60. So it will take a while to get to skipping rares and magic items, but once you do you can actually use the salvage for many more things! You&#8217;ll be able to socket non-ancestral items with it and create random legendary items as well! There&#8217;s even a chance at Uniques and Mythic Uniuqes! </p>
