With killing bosses becoming very important in Season 8, players are starting to get a little annoyed at World Bosses!
A Call for Spawn Times
World Bosses were always meant to be a little bonus flavor (and loot) in the open world. Just a communal activity you could happen onto while playing other things. Even as such, their spawn timer have been a point of contention since the start of the game. Right now, the bosses spawn every 3 and a half hours.
Belial’s Return exacerbates this further, as players need specific bosses to get their Boss Powers! And so it’s no wonder we have many calling for much shorter spawn timers, so they can get their hands on one of the powers they’re missing. Whether an on-the-hour-every-hour schedule would be too much is up for debate, but they most likely should show up faster than they are now.
Boss Spawn Order
The timing isn’t the only thing players have suddenly been noticing now that World Bosses are relevant again either. The World Bosses spawn in a 3-2-3 pattern. That means a single boss will appear three times in a row, then the next one two times in a row, then the next one three and so on. This can also get very annoying if you’re looking at three boss spawns you already have. With the 3.5-hour spawn timer, you’ll basically have to wait half a day for the next one. And if you need the one after that, well, not today! You can always check out a World Boss spawn schedule if you need a particular boss.
Hopefully, Blizzard can speed up World Boss spawns or vary them up a little so players can grab those pretty impressive boss powers!
