HoYoverse has officially announced the next Zenless Zone Zero Special Program, giving proxies their first preview of what is coming in Version 2.7! The broadcast, titled “Champions Never Fall to the Past,” will go live on March 14 at 19:30 (UTC+8) on all the game’s official streaming platforms:
Like previous Special Programs, the stream will feature developers presenting upcoming content for the next update, along with the usual limited-time redemption code that you can claim during the broadcast.
The Hollow Champion Tournament Is About to Begin
According to the announcement, Version 2.7 will center around the Hollow Champion Tournament, an event that appears to be drawing attention from multiple factions across New Eridu. The massive prize pool has apparently attracted competitors from all over the city. However, HoYoverse hints that something more mysterious may be happening behind the scenes, suggesting the update may include a larger story twist.
The Special Program will be hosted by Mr. Z and Cissia, a consultant from Public Security. And of course, the Angels of Delusion will also make an appearance during the livestream.
Expect New Characters, Events, and the Usual Redeem Code
As with previous Zenless Zone Zero Special Programs, you can expect the stream to showcase:
- Upcoming Version 2.7 banners
- New events and story content
- Gameplay previews
- A livestream redemption code with free rewards
We already know that the two upcoming Agents are Nangong Yu and Cissia, so you can already prepare for them! Chances are Nangong Yu will be up during Phase 1 to follow the other two Angels of Delusion directly. One thing is sure: version 2.7 will have plenty of new content to explore!
