The second wave of Genshin Impact’s Version 5.7 beta (5.7v2) is now underway, and with it comes a range of adjustments for upcoming characters Skirk and Dahlia. The changes include not just minor numerical tweaks, but also animation changes and some unexpected UI and asset updates hinting at potentially larger system additions.
This information comes from HomDGCat, but boils down to:
- Minor text changes to Skirk and Dahlia
- Decreased Charged Attack Stamina Cost for Skirk
- Azurelight has higher base ATK but lower Crit Rate
Beta v2 changes do not tend to bring much, v3 is where the rel changes tend to happen and where can can cope that Dahlia receives buffs.
A Nightsoul Bar for Skirk?
One very peculiar change in the v2 beta is that there is the addition of a Nightsoul bar for Skirk. This is not currently present in the active beta however. While some players have suspected that this could simply be a stamina bar, such as the bar featured in Wanderer’s Elemental Skill, the “Nyx” part of the naming for these assets are specifically for Nightsoul-related abilities.
With Skirk not being a Natlan character, this raises many questions as to what is going on here as well as if this may significantly change up her build to use Obsidian Codex instead.
