Genshin Impact has officially revealed Aino, a new Hydro character from the soon-to-be-explorable Nod-Krai region! And she is already getting some attention with her quirky energy, robotic companions, and love of krumkakes (yes, the snack).
This marks one of the first character drip for Nod-Krai, the upcoming mysterious region. And Aino? She fits that region perfectly.

Aino is a genius mechanic and inventor living on the outskirts of Nasha Town, in a giant, metal-clad workshop that smells like machine oil, metal, and, of course, fresh krumkakes.
By her side is Ineffa, her loyal all-purpose robot who helps run the shop, bake snacks, and dish out advice on how to stay on Aino’s good side! While Aino is Ineffa’s inventor, they are also like a real family together!
Aino’s Creations Are Everywhere in Nod-Krai
If you spot cute robots flying through markets or hear the rumble of weird foundries, chances are you are seeing Aino’s work in action. Her machines seem to be an everyday part of life in Nod-Krai, helping with everything from transportation to… dessert production?
Her personality mixes genius-level intellect with a kind of childlike playfulness. She creates gadgets for fun, not profit, and lives by one rule! If it is not fun or delicious, what’s the point?
How to Befriend Aino (According to Ineffa)
In true Genshin style, Aino has her own eccentric social quirks. Do not expect a warm welcome if you act like a critic instead of a fan. According to Ineffa:
