HSR 3.4 New Planary Ornament Sets

Are Trailblazers getting ready for the upcoming characters in Version 3.4 of Honkai: Star Rail? At the “For the Sun is Set to Die” Special Program held just last Friday, we got to meet not one, nor two, but three new characters!

Trailblazers can already start preparing character materials for Phainon, Saber, and Archer, but what about their relics and planary ornaments? We cover Honkai: Star Rail characters’ best-in-slot builds over on IcyVeins, but these upcoming planary ornament sets may be worth holding your Trailblaze Power for!

Starting in Version 3.4, players can obtain the following planary ornament sets from the new Divergent Universe stage Moonlit Blood:

  • Arcadia of Woven Dreams
    • 2-Piece Set Effect: When there are currently more or less than 4 ally targets in battle, each additional/missing ally target increases the wearer and their memosprite’s DMG by 9%/12%, up to a maximum of 4/3 stacks.
  • Revelry by the Sea
    • 2-Piece Set Effect: Increases the wearer’s ATK by 12%. When the wearer’s ATK is higher than or equal to 2,400/3,600, increases the DoT DMG dealt by 12%/24%.

How Do I Obtain the New Planary Ornaments?

If you have yet to unlock Divergent Universe, you will need to complete the pre-requisite missions or gain early access through Finality’s Vision! You need access to this game mode before you can obtain the upcoming planary ornament sets in Version 3.4.

Once players unlock Divergent Universe, they can obtain both of the new planary ornament sets from completing the challenge called Moonlit Blood. This challenge is accessible either through the Divergent Universe menu, or the Survival Index in the Interastral Peace Guide (shown above).

If players have a Build Target selected, the world featuring their preferred planary ornament set(s) will move to the top of the Ornament Extraction challenge list.

Why is Arcadia of Woven Dreams Good? Who can use it?

Unironically, Arcadia of Woven Dreams can significantly increase any Remembrance character’s DMG output in combat. Yes, any Remembrance character, as they can use Memosprites to increase (or decrease) the number of current ally targets.

Now, this set isn’t just exclusive for Remembrance characters only! Technically, any team with fewer ally targets can also benefit from the DMG bonus. At the very least, it buffs the wearer’s personal DMG, which is a different damage multiplier than stat bonuses.

A few characters or teams who can benefit from using this set are:

  • Phainon (removes ally targets during his Ultimate)
  • All Remembrance team (think of all the memosprites and ally targets!)

However! If you already built the planary ornaments for your Remembrance characters, perhaps you won’t need this new set for now… Maybe a future unreleased character will want it instead?

Why is Revelry by the Sea Good? Who can use it?

Revelry by the Sea is an incredible planary ornament set for any characters who primarily deal DoT damage! It not only increases ATK, which is an important stat for increasing DoT damage, but also has a DoT DMG multiplier itself!

Characters with damage over time, also known as DoT, will deal more DMG the more debuffs the enemy(s) have. For example, most Nihility characters will focus on applying debuffs, and upon expiry, will cause a large amount of DMG regardless of the enemy’s Toughness bar.

A few characters or teams who can benefit from using this set are:

Did you know Kafka will receive her Novaflare Character Enhancement changes in Version 3.4? Feel free to check out all the Novaflare details and info on IcyVeins!

Last, but not least, there’s also a new Stagnant Shadow coming to Version 3.4. The Shape of Cinders will provide a new Wind-Type character Ascension material “Charred Bud of Twilight.” There are no characters who currently require this material, so perhaps it’s for someone releasing in Version 3.5 instead?
