MoP Classic Players Are Rushing to Grab These Darkmoon Faire Trinkets

Darkmoon Faire trinkets have always been an integral part of World of Warcraft since Vanilla, especially during the pre-raid gearing phase. In Mists of Pandaria Classic, they are Best-in-Slot (BiS) for nearly all classes before the raid opens.

How to Get a Darkmoon Faire Deck in MoP Classic

Each Darkmoon Faire deck consists of 8 different cards which, when assembled, unlock a quest that lets you to turn in the completed deck at the Darkmoon Faire for your pre-BiS trinket.

To create the deck, you need to collect all 8 cards, from the Ace to the Eighth, for a specific type of deck.

In total, there are 4 decks, which create 5 different trinkets.

  • The Tiger Deck iconTiger Deck creates the Relic of Xuen iconRelic of Xuen & Relic of Xuen iconRelic of Xuen for physical DPS classes.
  • The Ox Deck iconOx Deck creates the Relic of Niuzao iconRelic of Niuzao for Tanks.
  • The Crane Deck iconCrane Deck creates the Relic of Chi-Ji iconRelic of Chi-Ji for Healers
  • The Serpent Deck iconSerpent Deck creates the Relic of Yu'lon iconRelic of Yu’lon for Caster DPS

To get a deck, you need to do one of three things:

  • Become a Scribe or have one craft all eight cards for you, then combine them into a deck.
  • Buy individual cards from the Auction House. Prices vary since some cards are slightly rarer than others.
  • Buy a fully completed deck if you have enough gold, but we recommend exploring the other options first.

Prices will vary depending on your server. If you’d like to get a deck cheap, the best option is to craft it yourself.

Making Your Own Darkmoon Faire Deck With Inscription

Probably the cheapest, but most time-consuming, way to get your trinkets is to become a Scribe. Once you reach 600 skill in the profession, you’ll be able to craft cards using the Darkmoon Card of Mists iconDarkmoon Card of Mists skill. Crafting Darkmoon cards is random, which is why they are often sold on the Auction House, but it’s a also a great way to make gold earily in the expansion.
