A brand-new Monster Hunter Wilds and Street Fighter 6 collaboration is underway! Launching on Wednesday, May 28, 2025 (UTC), this collab is bringing the raging demon himself, Akuma, into the hunt! You will also have access to new features, gear, and more!
This collaboration is free and all you will have to do is to update your game to the latest Version 1.011.00.00 which will release on May 28.

The Satsui No Hado Awakens in the New Side Mission
Step into the ring—er, the field—with the new special side mission called Ultimate Strength, where you can face off against a fearsome version of Akuma. This mission is available to hunters with HR 21 or higher, and begins by talking to Quinn, the Vespae Unit handler, at the Oilwell Basin Base Camp.
You’ll also find two additional collab arena quests: Demonic Strength and True Strength. Each offering exclusive rewards for those who rise to the challenge.
It is important to note that after its addition as a free update, this collaboration will be a permanent addition to the game.
Unlock Collab-Exclusive Rewards
Complete the side mission and arena quests to earn limited-time gear and cosmetics, including:
- Akuma Hunter full armor set and layered armor equipment
- Blanka-Chan Palico full armor set and layered equipment
- Street Fighter 6-themed Hunter Profile background, nameplate, and pose
As mentioned before, the collaboration is a permanent addition, so these items aren’t going anywhere.
Master the Fist With Unique Akuma Moves
By equipping the Akuma full armor set or layered version, you’ll gain access to unique gestures and item-based actions that mimic Akuma’s iconic fighting style from Street Fighter. Use the Assisted Combo: Akuma item from your Item Bar to perform moves like the Gou Hadoken and Gou Shoryuken! Note that:
- Attack Power is scaled with your currently equipped main weapon
- Equipping the full armor set boosts attack power considerably compared to using the full layered armor set
- Assisted Combos and other actions will gain stun properties
- The Drive Impact action will gain an offset effect
