Neverness to Everness players are continuing to uncover hidden secrets across Hethereau, and one of the coolest discoveries so far might be the hidden Ghost Racer car skin for the Novus ST79. The problem is that unlocking it is probably one of the most expensive and time-consuming cosmetic farms currently available in Version 1.0. We sadly did not manage to get it yet, but if you want to see how it looks in-game, we did find a clip for you:
Between owning the most expensive property in the game, grinding races repeatedly, and farming millions of Fons, this is definitely not something most players will obtain anytime soon, but if you want to go for it, we put together everything you need to do!
The Ghost Racer Quest Is Basically an Initial D Reference
The first step toward unlocking the skin starts with a quest chain called “Drift Away! Legend” that unlocks the “Ghost Rider” side quest. It can be found in the Miguel District in Yurutown, where all the shops are, near a tofu shop with an ST79 parked outside.

And yes, it is very obviously a reference to Initial D!

The entire thing references the iconic Fujiwara Tofu Shop, and the quest itself revolves around driving challenges and a final showdown against a spectral Ghost Racer version of the ST79.
After defeating the anomaly version of the car, you unlock a repeatable challenge mode where you can continue racing against the Ghost Racer.
The Real Farm Starts With Fenglin Villa
Unfortunately, finishing the quest is only the beginning. To be able to unlock the skin, you have to purchase the Fenglin Villa, and this is currently the most expensive property available in Neverness to Everness Version 1.0.

Not only does the villa only unlock once you reach City Tycoon Level 13, but you also need to spend 8,000,000 Fons to buy it. This is honestly an absurd amount of money considering many players are still struggling to afford basic vehicles, but it is a pretty cool villa thought.
Once you finally purchase the villa, you gain access to a special anomaly furniture item called the Replica Ghost Car.

Inside the villa, you can interact with the Replica Ghost Car anomaly furniture, and you will have to upgrade it to be able to access the cosmetic. Upgrading it requires a material called Fuel Experience that you get by defeating the Ghost Racer again and again.
So even after spending millions on the property itself, you still need to grind multiple races to fully max out the anomaly furniture.
The Ghost Skin Only Works on One Car
Once all upgrades are completed, you can simply head to any garage to equip the Ghost Car skin. Sadly, the cosmetic only works with the Novus ST79, so if you got yourself a very fancy car instead, you will have to downgrade for this one.

Still, the effect is extremely cool and gives the car a supernatural “ghost-themed” appearance that fits perfectly with the game. At the moment, this is probably one of the rarest cosmetics currently obtainable in Neverness to Everness, simply because of how ridiculous the requirements are.
But for those who enjoy collecting hidden rewards and long-term progression goals, it is definitely one of the coolest secrets discovered so far.
