A lot of players are wondering if Neverness to Everness is multiplayer, and if so, what exactly can you do with your friends?
The short answer is that yes, Neverness to Everness has some multiplayer activities indeed, but it is restricted to some specific content.
To make it short, you cannot do your story quests in multiplayer, but you can invite or visit a friend’s world to explore the open world, visit your house, compete in mini-game activities, race, or participate in heists together.
What You Can Do With Friends

Once you have access to the friends feature, you can invite people to your world, and you can do a few things together. All the details about multiplayer have not been revealed yet, but here is what we know so far, at least!
- Open-World Co-Op
- You can team up with up to 4 players and explore the world together.
- Explore the map
- Take on anomalies
- Hang out and complete side activities
This is similar to other gacha RPGs like Genshin, for example, where the world is shared, but progression is still mostly personal.
One of the more interesting activities that was not available in the beta but is getting added at launch is a multiplayer Heist activity. It is apparently called the “Pink Paws Mode,” and you basically just complete Heists together with friends! Be careful, this also means you can get arrested together!

Other than those two main activities, you can also participate in:
- Racing and Mini-Games
- Racing against other players
- Various mini-games
- Mahjong mode
- Up to 4 players
- Compete against other players in Mahjong
- Housing and Social Features
- Visit your friends’ houses
- Invite others to your own house

More activities might be added over time. Depending on player feedback, the developers often change or add more multiplayer modes.
For now, the multiplayer in Neverness to Everness is basically fun if you want to play with friends casually, but less ideal if you are expecting to share the full progression with someone else.
