The Neverness to Everness Version 1.1 update introduced a pretty cool and sort of relaxing new event that is all about Lacrimosa, and kind of turned into a massive “treasure hunt”. The Long Dream event asks you to track down Lacrimosa across different locations in Hethereau. Normally, new clues are released over several days to gradually reveal her whereabouts.
However, it did not take long for players to discover that every location is already available in-game. As a result, some people have already shared all eight spots with the community.
You Can Complete the Event Early
Even if the official hints are time-gated, Lacrimosa herself is already waiting at every event location. This means that you do not necessarily have to wait for each day’s clues and can instead visit the locations directly to collect the rewards.
On Reddit, someone made a pretty nice report on all the locations with both video and image guides, so we highly recommend you check it out:
And as a recap, here are all the locations you can find Lacrimosa. She will either be just standing there, or asleep, hiding in a corner:
- Moby-Dick Bookstore near Nacupeda Park
- Teleport to the phone booth at the hospital and head down
- She is standing, reading some Manga
- Origami Market
- Located on top of where the music boss is
- Standing in front of a vending machine
- BAC – at the Bureau of Anomaly Control
- Up the stairs on the right, sleeping on a couch
- Bluegaze Campground
- Teleport to the Headless Rider and climb up the cliff on top
- Sleeping on a cloud next to a camping chair
- Kyllene Promenade
- Teleport on top of the promenade
- Cross the entire promenade all the way down towards the Camelot train station
- She is sleeping on the ground in her coffin on a wall
- Miguel District
- Caltrop Lake Station
- She is waiting for a train near the vending machine
- Yuanmu Hill
- Near the Fortune Shades
- Sleeping in her Coffin at the top
- Sunward Island
- Unlock the new zone through the main story first
- Head left to the King’s Snacks Snack Shop
- She sleeps on top of a black car next to two Agents arguing
If you prefer solving the clues by yourself, you can still follow the event normally, but those looking for a fast route now have a nice community-made guide available.
The rewards are rather small, but the event is pretty much relaxed and fast to complete, so it is worth it. And, as many have pointed out, it is also a nice excuse to revisit some of Hethereau’s prettiest locations at the same time as searching for the mysterious tomato-loving sleepy character.
