The new Fons Rush event is now live in Neverness to Everness, giving us a chance to earn double Fons from hobbies for a limited time. With many Appraisers currently saving up for the Porsche collaboration event, the timing could not be much better.
However, there is one important detail that you may want to know before spending your City Stamina.
It turns out that some activities do not appear to benefit from the double Fons bonus at all.
Racing Is Listed Under Hobbies
Part of the confusion comes from the way the event is presented in-game. When you open the Fons Rush event page, it directs you toward the Hobby activities menu, and racing is included within that category. This means that you could think: “Let’s just do a few races for fun and get double Fons rewards”. However, that does not seem to work.
For once, someone read through the Event Notice, and it clearly states that Fons earned from Races will not be doubled.
Save Your Stamina for Other Activities
This means that if your goal is to maximize Fons income during the event, spending City Stamina on races may not be the best option right now. The best way remains Delivery, Fishing, and Owner’s Selection, so focus on those activities instead.
It is unknown if any other activity also does not grant the bonus, but since Racing is the only one mentioned in the Event Notice, you should be able to complete the double Fons event with any other hobby of your choice.
