Battlefield Beta Early Access

Thousands of Battlefield fans are already jumping into the Battlefield 6 Open Beta… sort of.

According to SteamDB, Battlefield 6 reached a peak of 9 463 concurrent players on Steam in the past 24 hours, despite the beta not even being live yet!

The game currently has around 4 500 users online, and it looks like people are just chilling in the main menu, changing their settings, or chatting with friends through the in-game voice chat.

It is both a strange and wholesome event that shows how excited fans are to try out the Battlefield 6 Beta! People pointed it out on Reddit and Twitter/X as well. They report loading into the pre-beta menu screen simply to poke around the game’s settings and UI customization options.

Just finished doing this, glad to see so many options,” writes one Reddit user. “War tapes is back!!! Love editing my UI colors and such.”

Some players are even spending 30 minutes or more just customizing graphics, keybinds, and experimenting with features like the previously mentioned War Tapes audio. A few have spotted typos in the menus and are already requesting more weapon FOV options, even before firing a single shot! It shows how invested people are, and how much they want the game to succeed and do well. They are already preparing feedback to share with the devs!

The Early Access period for the Battlefield 6 Open Beta officially starts on August 7, with full public access expected shortly after. But clearly, many fans could not wait that long.

Regardless of its anticipation, boredom, or the simple joy of adjusting controls and features, the Battlefield 6 community seems more than ready for action, starting from the settings screen!
