The previously announced big changes to the BC Classic UI have now gone live.

The modern WoW additions to Classic are taking effect. Today we have some raid frame and nameplate improvements, from color options to debuff indicators, and a few bug fixes as well.

With hotfixes that are now live, the following have been added to Burning Crusade Classic:

User Interface

  • Raid Frames
    • Added interface options for Raid Frames to select health bar color and background color.
    • Added interface options for Raid Frames to show or hide dispellable debuff indicators (default: off).
    • Edit Mode: Added Layout Template, Opacity, and Aura Icon Size options to Raid Frames
    • Edit Mode: Fixed a bug where some aura icons would appear larger in the Edit Mode Raid Frame preview.
  • Nameplates
    • Added interface option to color friendly or enemy nameplates based on player class color.
  • Fixed a bug where the item comparison tooltip was always showing, instead of only showing when you held down Shift.
