WoW Forever is already giving us a pretty good look at how its version of Azeroth will come together. Thanks to MrGM, we can take a look at the new Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor loading screens—and they’re full of interesting details!
Both loading screens are hand drawn versions of the landscapes, with some familiar landmarks scattered across the horizon. And if you know your Warcraft geography, there’s a lot to spot!
Eastern Kingdoms
The Eastern Kingdoms screen is particularly packed. Stormwind is immediately recognisable, with Blackrock Mountain, Karazhan, Gilneas, and Lordareon/Undercity. Further in the distance, Silvermoon appears to be visible as well—although exactly how Silvermoon fits into WoW Forever remains something we’ll have to wait and see.
And perhaps most excitingly, we can see the silhouette of Dalaran, sitting firmly on the ground!
Kalimdor
Kalimdor has just as much going on. Thousand Needles can be seen in the foreground, with Orgrimmar, Thunder Bluff, Theramore Isle, and Silithus standing out.
Mount Hyjal takes up plenty of space on the horizon, and yes, that’s Teldrassil—very much alive!
These loading screens may just be artwork, but they give us plenty to get excited about. Thanks to MrGM for the screenshots!
