We have a reversion to the status quo from previous weeks this time around, as Marksmanship drops back down after last week’s surge. We also see Frost DK make a small comeback in all the charts, possibly starting a surge to take it back to the top!
Mythic+ Spec and Group Popularity, Retail + Remix, Week 13
Note: We are using normalized scores instead of raw DPS for the Warcraft Logs rankings. Normalized scores take into account the outlier boss fights where certain specs could stack massive DPS (due to the nature of the fight, whether it’s AoE spam or something else), which would then affect their overall score for the whole raid.
Mythic
Overall Damage 95th Percentile
It seems Marksmanship’s rise was a one-week thing (for now anyway), as we see things get back to normal in the top 3. Arcane and Beast Mastery are still keeping Assassination at bay while Elemental rules over all at the very top, and hasn’t moved from there in a long while now. We see the second Hunter spec down in 5th, dropping three after last week’s surge. Frost DK is back in action, moving two spots up into 6th, taking down Destro and Fire. And while Fury keeps its penultimate spot, Windwalker drops out of the top 10 as Subtlety takes its place. Augmentation is still going strong, moving another spot up in 12th.
Down at the bottom, we see Arms move out of the gutter, a pretty big 5 spots up from dead-last, as some 0 DPS Dimensius carries may have gone away. The current occupant of that last spot is not there due to Dimensius shenanigans, as Outlaw is hovering around that final spot on basically every single fight in the raid.
Overall Damage All Percentiles
Despite the new meta being in place for a long time now, the generalist chart will not budge, and Elemental remains in 3rd, with Arcane and Assassination being very stable at the top. We usually see it catch up to the top percentiles eventually, but it seems it may be resisting that trend this season. Fury drops a couple of spots to 6th, while BM drops one to Frost DK. We see Marksmanship drop here as well, two spots down to 9th. Subtlety gains one to finish at the end of the top 10, knocking Unholy down.
Boss Only Damage All Percentiles
Moonkin gains a spot in 5h as Feral drops one, keeping Druids balanced overall here in the boss damage chart.

Heroic Overall Damage All Percentiles
Frost DK is on the move here as well, gaining a spot in 6th, showing it’s not just the top players making the spec work. We also see the other DK gain quite a bit of traction, rising three spots into 8th.
