Blizzard’s Most Popular Mount Event Ends Tomorrow — But Players Want More

Collector’s Bounty is ending and the community is not ready to let it go!

For the past month, WoW has felt alive in a way we haven’t seen in years! Legacy raid entrances on every server have been swarmed with players farming rare mounts, thanks to the Collector’s Bounty event, which boosted their drop rates.

It’s Time to Say Goodbye!

But as of tomorrow in North America (July 30 for EU), the event will be over. Many players are really dreading the return to the usual 1% grind!

Can We Get One More Week?

Players are rallying across Reddit, X, and the official forums, asking Blizzard for an extension of the event until Patch 11.2 drops on August 5. One more week would let players finish their farms!

Will Blizzard Make the Next Move?

Blizzard hasn’t responded publicly to the many requests made by the community, but with the event’s popularity and the patch only a week away, the pressure is on! If the event gets extended, we will definitely let you know!

Will Collector’s Bounty Return in the Future?

While nothing has been confirmed, we think Collector’s Bounty will return next year during the Greedy Emissary event.
