Elemental Shaman Dominates Belo’ren’s Burn Phase in New Warcraft Logs View

Warcraft Logs added per-phase statistics for the penultimate boss of the raid tier, Belo’ren.

The first boss of the March on Quel’danas raid, Belo’ren is a unique fight where players need to kill him as an egg in Phase Two.

This is the first time Warcraft Logs has added per-phase breakdown to a boss .

Belo’ren starts off in bird form, where players get assigned either a Light or Dark Feather and follow mechanics based on those colours. Once the boss initially hits 0%, it spawns in the centre of the room and cast Rebirth iconRebirth, where players do as much damage as possible for 40 seconds. Teams save lust and most offensive cooldowns for this phase to kill the boss off.

Once 40 seconds is up, the fight repeats into a more intense Phase One until his egg reaches 0%.

More Insight for Raiders and Raid Leads

When players dive into boss statistics on Warcraft Logs, they are able to see how well your specialization stacks up throughout the overall fight. Players can organize the information by boss, difficulty, and even item levels.

Breaking down the information by boss allows players to compare their specializations and class to others, giving players a better picture of what’s strong on each fight. This feature takes this to another level, allowing raiders to see what is performing well in each phase.

Some specs are better at cleave, some are better at single target, some have strong burst damage, and some excel in movement. Information like this can help raiders have more of an understanding on what parts of a fight you’ll excel.

Whether you’re a casual raider wanting to look at builds, or a cutting-edge raid leader looking to build your best roster, features like this can offer easier to find information, allowing players to make better decisions.

In the original post, Yax asked players which other bosses this feature could’ve been cool for. This might be a sign they plan on continuing this feature in the future.

Elemental Shaman On Top for Burn Phase, Warriors and Mages Shine in Phase One

Phase Two highlights Elemental Shaman’s strength, where they lead the field by a sizeable margin on both Heroic and Mythic difficulties, followed by Marksmanship hunter and Windwalker Monk. Destruction Warlock, Outlaw Rogue, Fury Warriors and Arcane Mage fall near the bottom as well for both difficulties.

In Phase one, we almost see a reverse. Fury Warriors and Outlaw make the top 5 on Mythic, with Survival Hunters leading the way. Frost and Fire mage round out the top 5, and Arcane Mage is top 10. Elemental Shaman is dead last.

For Heroic, Frost DKs, Frost Mage, and Subtlety Rogue lead the way.

Should this be a feature they continue to expand on?
