There was a bit of a scare that ElvUI would go the way of WeakAuras, back when the addon apocalypse changes were first announced, but that was soon put to rest. We’ve known ElvUI would be coming back for Midnight for a while now, as the team announced it a couple of months ago. What we didn’t know, however, was when exactly, and whether it would be ready for the pre-patch. Well, now we do!

The developers announced the addon is ready to go, so UI enthusiasts can breathe a sigh of relief! Hopefully no permanent damage was done to said enthusiast as they needed to brave the base UI.
Spotted by RomireOnline, the release isn’t fully up to 100%, but that’s exactly what the pre-patch is for. The devs will be working on player feedback and getting the venerable addon back on its feet throughout. The Cooldown Manager is of particular interest to the devs, as they have a basic skin and font setup at the moment, but have much bigger plans for it in the future.
