The Fanta x Xbox collaboration, celebrating Xbox’s 25th anniversary, is bringing a limited-time reward to World of Warcraft. The 
Fantastical Goblin Waveshredder mount is a fanta-orange recolour of the Waveshredder mounts added to the game last year.
A Fanta-stic Collab
To unlock this mount, players need to buy a participating Fanta product, scan the QR code, and complete a few Xbox‑themed mini‑challenges before redeeming the reward. The promotion starts in April 2026 and is time‑limited.
In regard to other collaborations, Blizzard has recently said promotional rewards will eventually make their way to the Trading Post. So, while the Fanta x Xbox collaboration is time-limited, we will hopefully see the Fantastical Goblin Waveshredder available for 
Trader’s Tenders in the future.
Making Promotional Mounts Widely Available
We’ve recently monitored a situation where a limited promotional mount ended up being much less available than players expected. However, we have a good plan for future access to the mount.
Since the introduction of the Trading Post, we’ve considered each new promotional mount to be destined to eventually become available to players via the Trading Post. This allows us to first offer a new mount to a specific community, such as a single country, as a promotional item that has limited availability, and then later remove its ‘limited’ status altogether.
It is our plan with each new limited promotional mount to bring the mount to all players at a later date in the Trading Post, and if we deviate from that plan, we’ll let you know.
This crossover also includes rewards for Halo: Campaign Evolved, Call of Duty: Warzone and Black Ops 7, Diablo IV, and Forza Horizon 6.
