It’s been a while since we checked in on the logs! The new patch didn’t bring anything new to the table, tuning-wise, but it’s still a big milestone. We do see some movement in both the raid and dungeons, but the meta is very much set until the expansion pre-patch.
Note: We are using normalized scores instead of raw DPS for the Warcraft Logs rankings. Normalized scores take into account the outlier boss fights where certain specs could stack massive DPS (due to the nature of the fight, whether it’s AoE spam or something else), which would then affect their overall score for the whole raid.
Mythic
Overall Damage 95th Percentile
In the top percentiles, we see Marksmanship continued its slow rise, culminating in its current 2nd place standing. Not only that, but we now have all three top 3 specs basically identical, with Elemental eeking a win. Assassination and Beast Mastery are a little below, but also both at almost the exact same level. Frost DK and Fury move past Fire as Destruction keeps stable right above them, and Augmentation closes out the top 10 as always. The bottom 3 remained the exact same over the past three weeks, and Outlaw still claims the bottom spot.
Overall Damage All Percentiles
We have to go a bit lower here to see some changes, 5th place in fact, where Beast Mastery drops three spots, making room for Frost DK, Destro, and Marksmanship. Fire drops two spots to 9th, and Subtlety moves into the final top 10 spot, as Augmentation drops to 12th.

Heroic Overall Damage All Percentiles
Heroic is taking a very different turn from Mythic, as the top spec in the highest difficulty is dropping like a stone here. Elemental was never on top in heroic, but now it’s also dropped three spots from its previous 3rd place! Marksmanship made the biggest move and grabbed the Shaman’s spot, with destruction and Fury in tow.

Mythic+ DPS Logs
95th percentile DPS
The very colorful top 5 almost remains exactly the same, but we do see Fury take down Subtlety at the end. Mythic+ retains its reputation for being extremely consistent in the latter part of a season, as the only other top 10 change is in 10th place, where Unholy pushed Retribution out. Meanwhile, Affliction and Arms drop down to the bottom 3, relieving Assassination and Augmentation, and joining the eternal-member Frost Mage!
All Percentiles
Beast Mastery made a bit of a comeback here, pushing Havoc down into 3rd. We actually see a pattern here, as Fury did the same to Arcane in 4th, Elemental to Subtlety in 6th, and Unholy to Feral in 9th!

Very High Key Raw DPS Numbers
Note: We’re also taking a look at the raw damage numbers from Mythicstats. They take the top runs for extremely high keys (+14-22) from WarcraftLogs and list the overall DPS for the dungeon, which includes non-combat time as well. They’re ranked by the average DPS numbers, with the very top of the top shown next to it.
In a reverse of the above all percentiles bracket, we see Havoc taking down Beast Mastery in 2nd here. Outlaw makes a big leap from the last time we checked, rising five spots into 7th, right behind its fellow Rogue. Demonology makes the biggest leap, however, grabbing six spots in 10th.
