Four Mythic+ Dungeons Have Hidden Buffs Most Players Miss

This season of Mythic+ might be the easiest season ever, but that hasn’t stopped players from looking for an edge when it comes to pushing keys.

This season has four dungeons that can give players some extra stats, damage, and healing.

Al’gethar Academy

Just like in Dragonflight, there are five dragons at the start of Al’gethar Academy that players can interact with to get a pledge pin for the specific flight. Players can only be pledged to one dragonflight at a time.

Magister’s Terrace

Once you get to the library where you have to sneak around some Vigilant Librarians, there’s a glowing book on the bookshelf. Getting near it makes it fly off the shelf, and interacting with it will give your party the Arcane Empowerment iconArcane Empowerment debuff for 30 minutes, granting everyone 5% haste.

After the library, you can find some Energy Crystals, which grant players stacks of Energy Infusion iconEnergy Infusion, giving an additional 1% damage and healing per stack. These last for 30 seconds, so use them wisely!

Maisara Caverns

This dungeon offers players a choice of a couple of buffs, depending on which direction you go. Both buffs are located in the biggest buildings on either side, each offering a thirty minute buff that persists through death.

Going left from the dungeon entrance, players will be able to grab Ritual Concoction iconRitual Concoction. This buff gives players a chance to deal nature damage when casting spells and abilities.

Going right, players will be able to grab the Hearty Vilebranch Stew iconHearty Vilebranch Stew buff, granting them 3% leech and 3% damage reduction from AoE abilities.

Here’s the map showing both buffs:

Both sides also have freezing traps, which can freeze an enemy for a few seconds.

Most players opt to go right and grab the Hearty Vilebranch Stew iconHearty Vilebranch Stew since it’s considered slightly better, however, each comes with their own benefits, and you’ll be able to grab a buff regardless of whether you go left or right.

After the Muro’jin and Nekraxx boss fight, there’s an additional buff friend players can get by interacting with incenses around the next room.

Nexus-Point

While heading towards Kasreth, you’ll come across Corespark Conduits. These interactable objects grant players the Corespark Surge iconCorespark Surge debuff while standing on them. You’ll gain stacks quickly, but each stack deals additional damage over time.

Each conduit has health, which will drain as you stand on it and gain stacks.

You will generally avoid them, since the damage they do and the limited nature of the buff isn’t really worth it. However, they’re easy to find if you want to use them. There are four spots along the hallway.
