We’re only in the second week of Horrific Visions, but some WoW players are already completing the incredibly difficulty 8-mask Vision runs. With the Hourglass of Horrific Visions not yet maxed out, this week’s clears are especially impressive, as next week, things will get significantly easier!
Reddit user zztopar has shared a detailed list of survival and strategy tips after finishing their 8-mask run, and we’ve rounded up the most useful ones to help you push for your own clear before next week.
Track Sanity Potions with This WeakAura
Download this WeakAura from Wago.io to instantly identify which potion grants +100 Sanity. At the start of your run, identify the bad potion and select its color in the WeakAura box, which will tell you which color is your +100 Sanity potion.
Go Straight to Rexxar First
After identifying the bad potion and checking for the Blacksmithing mini-boss in the nearby hut, head directly to Rexxar. He’s the toughest zone bosses, so doing him early means you won’t waste time or a good run if things go awry.
Use A Sanity Orb During Rexar
When Rexxar reaches around 80%, use your 
Sanity Restoration Orb. Affixes like 
Split Personality won’t trigger while you’re inside the orb area. This is very important because when you have boars charging you with Split Personality up, you will be knocked into the disorienting effect and lose control of your character. If you put down a s Sanity Orb right before the first boar is about to spawn, you can kill the remaining boars with no affixes!
Use a Stinky Bright Potion!
Available on the Auction House for cheap, 
Stinky Bright Potion gives you a 2-hour buff that turns the Horrific Vision environment into daylight, which drastically improves visibility, especially against hard-to-see purple swirlies.
