The WoW community caught sight of something especially curious this week, and it’s already sparking plenty of conversation. Reddit user, ex0ll, noticed a “Holiday Celebrant” NPC wandering around Stormwind, with pale skin and bright red eyes—the kind of look you’d expect from a Dark Ranger.
Currently, Dark Ranger customization options are reserved for Blood Elves, Void Elves, and Night Elves. However, with all of the updates to character creation in recent years, this tiny detail is making players wonder whether Blizzard is quietly preparing a new customization option for humans.
If you’ve wanted to live out your best Nathanos Blightcaller fantasy on a human character, this discovery is very exciting. But, of course, one odd NPC doesn’t confirm anything. Until Blizzard says anything, we’ll all be watching that NPC a little too closely and hoping it means something.
