In a surprising move, dungeon teleports—previously rewarded for completing a Legion Remix Mythic+ dungeon at +20, or higher, within the timer—are no longer obtainable. Now, only early achievers keep the portals, leaving latecomers with no way to earn them in Legion Remix.
A Popular Prestige Reward
In Legion Remix, the teleports work just like their modern Mythic+ counterparts, granting instant access to each dungeon once earned. They quickly became one of Remix’s most sought-after rewards, valued for both convenience and the prestige of hitting +20.
Players who already completed the dungeons in time retain the portals on their accounts, but anyone attempting to push +20 keys now will find themselves with no reward waiting at the end.
Is Blizzard’s Rewards Logic Inconsistent?
This follows other reward changes in Legion Remix—most notably the removal of Mage Tower appearances that Druids mistakenly obtained earlier in the event. This reinforces Blizzard’s long-standing stance on prestige rewards tied to specific eras of content.
But the decision feels inconsistent. The Violet Spellwing mount, originally earned by defeating Argus the Unmaker on Heroic difficulty, or higher, is once again be available in Legion Remix, even though it’s been removed on live servers. This raises a natural question within the community: if some prestige rewards like Mythic+ portals and Mage Tower appearances are considered untouchable, why are others being brought back?
