Legion Remix is a limited-time game mode that allows players to experience the entirety of the Legion expansion at an accelerated rate.

1.

What is Legion Remix?

Legion Remix is a limited-time game mode where players create a character called a Timerunner, pick from one of the 12 original classes available in Legion, and blitz through all of Legion's content.

2.

When is Legion Remix?

While Blizzard has not officially confirmed the start date of Legion Remix, datamining says it will run from October 7, 2025, for 15 weeks through January 19, 2026.

3.

Why Play Legion Remix?

Legion Remix offers unique rewards that will be gone once the event is over. Datamining also hints at exclusive Player Housing customization options, so missing out on the event does not seem to be a good idea.

4.

Content Available in Legion Remix

The following content will be available to everyone in Legion Remix:

  • 5 raids, including Antorus, the Burning Throne;
  • 12 dungeons + 1 mega-dungeon;
  • All Class Order Hall storylines;
  • Artifact weapons and campaign quests;
  • Legion Assaults and World Quests.
5.

Legion Remix Phases and Content Rollout

Not all content will be available at Legion Remix launch. Blizzard has taken inspiration from WoW Classic and we will see new phases of Legion content every 2 weeks.

Here is an overview of the Legion Remix phases players will experience:

  • Skies of Fire: Take to the skies of the Broken Isles with the original Legion content and the Emerald Nightmare raid.
  • Rise of the Nightfallen: Continue the Nightfallen's story with the Insurrection campaign and new World Quests across the Broken Isles. Re-experience the Legion mega-dungeon with the Return to Karazhan, and take on the Nighthold and Trial of Valor raids.
  • Legionfall: Establish a foothold on the Broken Shore, take on Legion Assaults, and fight your way into the Cathedral of Eternal Night and the Tomb of Sargeras.
  • Argus Eternal: Replay the Argus campaign across three deadly zones. Take on the Seat of the Triumvirate and Antorus, the Burning Throne.
  • Infinite Echoes: As the Legion timelines begin collapsing, say your goodbyes and embrace the chaos.
6.

What is Different This Time?

Legion Remix introduces a new open-world difficulty inspired by Diablo, custom talent trees and personal progression built around Infinite Power.

Bronze Icon Bronze is back as the main currency of the event, but this time, it is only used to purchase cosmetic items, not for gear upgrading.

Gear upgrades will drop from all content, and harder content will give you a higher drop chance for upgrades.

7.

Remixed Artifact Weapons

Artifacts are back, but they now have a shared trait tree where you choose between the following paths: Nature, Fel, Arcane, Storm, or Holy.

You can respec any time, and new gear lets you break trait limits.

You will also find Jewellery that lets you add ranks to traits from any path, taking ranks from other paths or boosting your chosen path beyond its natural limits.

8.

Heroic World Tier

All outdoor content will be available on a Heroic World Tier difficulty inspired by Diablo.

In this new difficulty, creatures will have more health, damage, and sometimes Affix-like buffs, empowering their difficulty and rewards.

9.

Timewarped Obelisks

Timewarped Obelisks scattered across Legion zones will provide you with temporary but powerful buffs as you explore the open world.

10.

Timeworn Keystone Dungeons

Legion was the first expansion to debut the Mythic+ system, which is why Blizzard implemented Timeworn Keystone Dungeons. These will feature most of the affixes from the original launch of the expansion, but they are also adding four new ones specific to Legion Remix called Eternus's Trials.

11.

Infinite Research

Each day, players can pick new research assignments, such as killing demons, running dungeons, collecting Bronze Icon Bronze while Skyriding, and more. With over 100 quests available and the ability to unlock multiple at once, you will have plenty of options to choose from.

You do not need to select an assignment every day, you can save up to 6 days of quests that you can do when you are ready.

12.

More Character Slots for Everyone

Five new character slots will be added to all World of Warcraft accounts with Legion Remix launch.

13.

Moving Characters from Legion Remix to Retail Servers

You can move your chars over to live servers before Legion Remix ends, but keep in mind this will also remove all Remix-specific items and abilities, and also clear your quest log.
