We’ve tested out Legion Remix after this week’s changes and the improvements make a night and day difference!
What Has Changed?
Blizzard decided to bring back massive player power into the Remix. Even though content in the game will still release in phases, all of them will share the Argus Eternal ilvl cap of 740, and each rank of the Limit Unbound Artifact trait will give you 1% Versatility.
Furthermore, all secondary stats now ignore diminishing returns and hard caps, allowing you to push them beyond the +126% limit.
All the changes listed here result in a significant power increase for players! This means your character can become very powerful during all the phases.
How to Join the Testing
You now have 3 days left to test out Legion Remix’s end game on the PTR.
In the Battle.net game catalog dropdown, select the 11.2.5 PTR, and install it. Once that’s out of the way, launch the game, and create a Timerunner.

Once you log in to the game, talk to Moratari standing before you and pick the skip option for the Artifact weapon.

Then, talk to Bronze Brannbeard who will boost you to Level 80 and grant you Infinite Power!

Open your Artifact weapon and unlock all the abilities up to the point where you pick an Artifact trait. Keep in mind you can only follow one path. Then, buy the Limit Unbound Infinite Power Artifact trait. Ctrl + Click to quickly assign your points.

You will also receive Item Level 740 gear, which is the max item level for Legion Remix in all phases.

Soloing Emerald Nightmare? No Problem!
With 999 points in the Infinite Artifact trait and ilvl 740 gear, it’s impossible to die and soloing Mythic raids is super easy. Here, we’ve cleared Mythic Emerald Nightmare and it was impossible to die (quite literally). Here’s a shot of Mythic Xavius dying in less than a minute.

The biggest pain was Il’gynoth, who didn’t spawn enough adds and so we had to keep beating him for more than 10 minutes through his 99% damage reduction. Hopefully, this gets sorted before launch.
Infinite Power Stats
Here’s a screenshot of the Infinite Power buff on my Demon Hunter. The stats were as follows:
- +15% Agility
- +135,864 Agility
- +100% Stamina
- +2.2 million Stamina
- +999% Versatility
- +3,404 Speed
- +20% XP gains.

It’s great that Blizzard continues to listen to the community and implement feedback based on testing! We can’t wait for Legion Remix to launch on October 7!
