Midnight Early Access is upon us, yes you heard that right! Whether you’re playing tomorrow or next week (when the expansion officially launches on March 2), here’s everything we recommend doing in Week 1.

Logging In

First and foremost, make sure you log into all of your alts. Logging in and moving to an inn/city will start your rested XP ticking. When you come to level your alts, you’ll be grateful you did this!

Professions and Knowledge Points

Don’t wait until max level to pick your professions. Profession knowledge progression is time gated, and so starting this as early as possible will give you the greatest advantage. There are also profession treasures to loot, which will increase your knowledge as you play the game.

Not to mention, the start of a new expansion brings the biggest profit margins. Midnight is no different, and we’ll see Auction House prices spike for crafting materials/orders early on.

Midnight Campaign

This one goes without saying—enjoy the campaign. Complete questlines, pick up side quests, and unlock all of the new systems and World Events. Purple/campaign quests have the highest priority for unlock requirements. But don’t rush it! A new expansion doesn’t have to mean a race to max level.

World Events and Weeklies

Check out and complete all of the new World Events. There are four new events, spanning the four new Midnight zones. You can check out more about these events and their rewards here:

Lady Liadrin and her companions in Silvermoon also offer Weekly Quests—make sure to pick these up as soon as possible. These weeklies offer big renown rewards and Apex Cache iconApex Caches.

Prepare for Delves

Bountiful delves will be locked until 17th March—the start of Midnight season 1. However, you can prepare ahead of the season start. Prioritising World Quests that reward Coffer Key Shard iconCoffer Key Shards will allow you to instantly have access to Restored Coffer Key iconRestored Coffer Keys once the season begins.

Completing all of the activities above should have you geared enough to start tackling delves once they are released. If you have any gaps in your gearset, run some Heroic dungeons for Adventurer level gear.

PvP Preparation

The PvP season will also start on 17th March, however you can prepare for this by getting yourself a full Honor iconHonor gear set. The Voidstorm event—Stormarion Assault—and World Quests in Voidstorm will also reward PvP gear and Bloody Tokens iconBloody Tokens.

The Most Important Thing

Most importantly, have fun! Whether you want to rush to the finish line, or take your time completing quest lines, this is just the beginning. We hope you enjoy yourselves!
