The Stormarion Assault is a new tower-defense style World Event coming in Midnight. Players will have to protect the Void Elves while purging Stormarion Citadel of relentless waves of void attackers.
This World Event bears resemblance to the Awakening the Machine event from The War Within. However, this is a public team-based version of the event, with optional defensive items:

Unstable Explosive Device
Similarly to Saltheril’s Soiree, the Stormarion Assault is a level 90 event. This event occurs every 30 minutes in Voidstorm.
Stormarion Assault Event Rewards
Completing the Stormarion Assault weekly World Quest will reward a 
Victorious Stormarion Pinnacle Cache containing the following:

Coffer Key Shard -
Stormarion Core -
Veteran Dawncrest -
Unstable Focusing Crystal - Veteran gear (from your first two weekly pinnacle caches)

Voidlight Marl
This cache also has the chance to drop a pet and a mount:
