The Dastardly Duos event just gave players a massive reason to search for gear in their banks! All items including legendaries from previous expansions now scale up to Item Level 619 during the matches, making some of the most iconic gear in WoW relevant once again.
For instance, 
Shadowmourne is pretty useless these days because it’s only of Item Level 35, but when you use it in Dastardly Duos matches, it scales up to Item Level 619, making it very powerful, as shown by content creator MrGM.
The next time you queue up for a Dastardly Duos event, check your bank for old legendaries, like 
Dragonwrath, Tarecgosa’s Rest, or the Warglaives of Azzinoth!
