One Hunter, No Keybinds: World First Queen Ansurek Solo Kill!

The Hunter with a clicking addiction is back! Durendil has managed an amazing feat, taking down the previous season’s final raid boss down all on his own!

One Hunter, One Queen, All Clicking

In case you weren’t aware, Durendil has been soloing everything in the game for a long time now. From current season Mythic+ dungeons to same-expansion raid endbosses, he not only does it all alone, he’s also a bit famous for doing it all by clicking his abilities, no keybinds.

And now he’s added another huge medal to his chest. He’s taken down the previous season’s raid entirely solo, with a Marksmanship Hunter! That’s right, he’s cleared all of Nerub’ar Palace, with the most recent kill being the hardest. Queen Ansurek fell and marked the first time a full raid has been cleared solo in the very next season!

The Fight

Durendil goes through everything that happened in great detail, both in the video description and in his full guide. Some of the hardest parts were actually managing to tank with the Masksmanship pet. Aside from threat issues, the pet needed to die 6 times and be dismissed 3 others during the fight, at some crucial points. Considering there are many 1-shots, especially in phase 3, messing up the pet threat at the wrong time was an instant wipe. And considering the fight took around 10 minutes each time…

But he managed to pull through, with some absorb trinkets (Ringing Ritual Mud iconRinging Ritual Mud, Chromebustible Bomb Suit iconChromebustible Bomb Suit) and healing Cyrce’s Signet (Storm Sewer's Citrine iconStorm Sewer’s Citrine, Mariner's Hallowed Citrine iconMariner’s Hallowed Citrine) and Delve belt (Cauterizing Bolt iconCauterizing Bolt).

So that’s a World First Normal Queen Ansurek, with the rest of the raid cleared as well! Huge congratulations to Durendil, and now it’s on to the higher difficulties and Liberation of Undermine!
