Players were reporting getting Mage Tower appearances at the start of Legion Remix, an unintended bug that Blizzard has fixed with the weekly reset.
Werebear and Sparklekitty Were Unintentionally Available to Druid Players
Last week, some players were noticing they were getting access to bear and cat Druid forms that were last obtainable during Legion and the original Mage Tower. Plenty of players on Reddit and the official forums reported this finding.
Blizzard’s Quick Reaction
Blizzard quickly made a follow-up post that this was an unintended bug and they were planning on fixing it. With the weekly reset in NA and EU, it appears Blizzard has hotfixed the bug, and the forms have been removed from players.
Due to an unexpected bug, Legion Remix launched with a circumstance where druid players could use bear and cat forms that they did not earn.
Please know that we’re working on fixing this (and other bugs), and when we do fix it, we expect that the forms will no longer be usable for players who didn’t earn them.
As always, keep an eye on our Hotfixes Update for more information. Thanks!
Not Everyone’s Happy!
This bug sparked a debate across social media and the forums. For some, players were really excited to get access to a no longer obtainable form. Players who weren’t playing Druid in Legion or started playing after the Legion expansion had an enjoyable time using them. Here’s Reddit user ChrischinLoois.
Players are debating about whether or not they should they be obtainable again. Some players would love if Blizzard re-added a way to acquire these forms, either through the current mage tower or another task. For others, they think that it’s okay if only those who got them when they were current can use them, to show what they accomplished when the Mage Tower was current in Legion.
What Do You Think?
Should Blizzard have allowed the skins to stay or are you happy they’re no longer available?
