Players Are Already Breaking Midnight Housing in Wild Ways

World of Warcraft’s long-awaited housing feature still isn’t even on live servers yet, but players in the Midnight Beta are already pushing the system to its limits—and the results are beyond astonishing.

A Musical Masterpiece

One creator in particular, Building Mouse on Youtube, has been consistently raising the bar. Their newest video showcases how to craft musical instruments from regular decor items, including an upright piano assembled from pillars, books, and cleverly placed doors.

And if that wasn’t enough, they also crafted a wall-mounted guitar using shelves, doormats, and candles to shape out the finer details. It’s these kinds of designs that really make you blink twice before remembering you’re still looking at WoW!

But Building Mouse isn’t the only one showing off. Across the community, players are experimenting with everything the system allows. One creator on Reddit, Saluuntv, even sculpted a full dragon out of pillows and fishing ropes.

What’s most exciting is that this is just the beginning, with only a slice of the playerbase testing the feature. Housing will officially open to players who have pre-ordered Midnight on 2nd December, but if the community’s early creations are anything to go by, we’re in for something special.
