This week’s weekend event offered a bit of confusion for players on both forums and social media.
The weekly dungeons weekly event was listed in the in-game calendar as taking place in The War Within expansion. Players quickly noticed, however, the buff was for Midnight dungeons instead.
Blizzard has since removed it from the calendar on Midnight Beta.
One Last Heroic Cache is No More
Completing the event gives players a heroic cache, offering them one piece of heroic gear from the raid. Some players are disappointed in its removal because they were trying to grab last minute gear to help their levelling journey or even just for something to do this week.
Others have been wondering if the event will appear for players in early access. It’s unlikely to see benefit however, since only normal dungeons will be available until official release.
When is the Next Weekly Dungeon Event in Midnight?
Players looking to grab a heroic cache for gear will have to wait for a month after the official release of Midnight. According to the in-game calendar, the weekly reset of April 7(NA)/8(EU) will be the next dungeon event.
The weekend events return with a Battleground event on March 17th, followed by Delves on the 24th.
