Players Think Blizzard Is Secretly Teasing a Lordaeron Revamp in Midnight

With Midnight right around the corner, hype for World of Warcraft is in full swing. Now, players are thinking they’ve spotted something interesting—Lordaeron keeps popping up a little too often to ignore.

The speculation surrounding old world revamps was reignited after a comment from @Portergague, who thought that the references to Lordaeron are appearing “just a lil bit too much to be coincidence”. With Midnight already modernizing Quel’Thalas, players are wondering: why stop there?

So Why Lordaeron?

If Blizzard were to revisit Lordaeron during Midnight, it wouldn’t just be for nostalgia. It would almost certainly tie directly into the expansion’s central theme: the escalating war between the Void and the Light.

There’s also the symbolism. Lordaeron represents the Light’s inability to prevent catastrophe. Thematically, Lordaeron could fit the Midnight storyline incredibly well.

None of this is confirmed, of course. Blizzard hasn’t announced anything Lordaeron-specific. But when a region this important keeps getting subtle nods, players start connecting dots.

Right now, it’s pure speculation. But if Lordaeron suddenly shows up on a future Midnight roadmap, don’t say the community didn’t see it coming.
