Blizzard have been on a roll when it comes to real-world crossovers. This year we’ve already seen partnerships with Pringles and Razer. And now, a collaboration with Pinterest has been announced!
What We Know So Far
Right now, Blizzard hasn’t shared many specifics about what the WoW x Pinterest collaboration will include. However, we do know one thing: obviously, it’s tied to Player Housing.
Given Pinterest’s identity as a visual inspiration platform, it’s not hard to connect the dots. Pinterest is all about mood boards, interior design ideas, and aesthetics. WoW’s Player Housing is also exactly the kind of system that thrives on those things.
Is This Connected to the Pin-O-Matic Camera?
The recently discovered Pin-O-Matic Camera has GlobalStrings.db2 references to “PHOTO_SHARING” and “Sites”, suggesting it may support some kind of external integration. Players have already speculated that the toy could let us capture in-game screenshots and display them as framed artwork inside our homes.
With the Pinterest collaboration now announced, it raises a bigger question: could the Pin-O-Matic 
Camera actually be part of this partnership? With Pin-O-Matic and Pinterest, the shared prefix is durely… pin-teresting. Watch this space for more details!
