Patch 11.2.7 – The Warning drops on 2nd December (US) 3rd December (EU), bringing a fresh wave of story developments and system updates. Here’s a no-nonsense recap of everything new so you can jump in fully prepared.
Midnight Epilogue
Patch 11.2.7 delivers the final chapter of The War Within storyline, and this might include some familiar faces. We won’t dive into specifics here, but if you’re looking for pre-patch spoilers, you can check out what we know so far here.
Player Housing Early Access
Early access to player housing opens for anyone who has pre-ordered the upcoming Midnight expansion. Players will be able to purchase two homes (one Horde and one Alliance) and start decorating right away! If you need help choosing where to settle, we’ve highlighted our favourite plots in Razorwind Shores, and in Founder’s Point.

Players who haven’t pre-ordered can still gather decor items and visit neighbourhoods, but you won’t be able to buy a house just yet.
Turbulent Timeways
Turbulent Timeways will run from December 2 – February 10, bringing 10 weeks of Timewalking events.
- In this new season, players can grab the
Master of the Turbulent Timeways IV achievement that is gained upon earning stacks of
Mastery of Timeways for 5 weeks during the event to receive
Ta’readon’s Mount Voucher.
Ta’readon’s Mount Voucher is a token you can exchange for 1 out of 4 mounts.- The rest of the mounts can be bought with Timewarped Badges
Here’s an overview of the new mounts you can buy using the token.
Bronze Aquilon Harness
The reliable steeds of Bastion are designed to mirror the proud and noble warriors of the Ascended.

Bronze Corpsefly Harness
It takes a great deal of effort to decorate a corpsefly, but some would say the efforts are worth it.

Bronze Gravewing Harness
While dark and ominous is the preferred aesthetic of those who reside in Revendreth, there are some who still favor gleaming luster.

Bronze Wilderling Harness
The regal wilderlings twist through the sky, free as the unbound magic that sustains their flight.

Shadowlands Timewalking
Shadowlands Timewalking debuts in 11.2.7, bringing three new mounts, a battle pet, and two toys to collect. It will be available twice during Turbulent Timeways. The first time between December 2 and December 9, and the second time from February 3 – 10. Here’s a preview of the mounts you can grab.

Brawler’s Guild Returns
The Brawler’s Guild is back, featuring a mix of new encounters and returning fan-favourite bosses. Players will be able to earn achievements, housing decor rewards, and two brand-new mounts.

And of course, it wouldn’t be the Brawler’s Guild without a new crocolisk mount.

Pandaren Heritage Armour
Pandaren finally receive their heritage armour in 11.2.7, with three unique sets: a red Horde-themed variant, a blue Alliance-themed version, and a neutral black/gray variant. All three will be unlocked by completing the new Pandaren heritage questline.

New & Returning Player Experiences
Exile’s Reach has been updated to flow directly into the Dragonflight storyline, giving new players a smoother narrative start.
Returning players will now be able to head to the Arathi Highlands with Jaina and Thrall, who’ll reintroduce core gameplay, class basics, and new tutorials for abilities, interrupts, and Skyriding. By the end of the revamped intro, you’ll walk away with level-appropriate gear and be fully ready to five back into the game.
New Lorewalking – The Elves of Quel’Thalas
A new Lorewalking chapter will be available from Lorewalker Cho, focusing on the Blood Elves and Void Elves. This journey revisits pivotal moments in Blood Elven history, Alleria Windrunner’s inadvertent tainting of the Sunwell, and the eventual creation of the Void Elves.
Old Currencies
Order Resources,
Apexis Crystal, and
Veiled Argunite will become warband transferable in 11.2.7. While this may seem insignificant, it’s a welcome boost for collectors, as many new housing decor items will be purchased using old expansion currencies.
Be Quiet Danath

And lastly, players can finally silence Danath in 11.2.7. If you haven’t finished the 11.1.7 Rise of the Arathi storyline, you’ve likely heard his nonstop commentary in Dornogal—but now a new dialogue option lets you shut him up for good.
