During the Midnight preseason, delves rewards are capped at tier 4, and bountiful delves are unavailable.
However, players can run delves up to tier 7 and save themselves sometime when the season starts.
This is impactful, because once the season releases this means players are able to jump right into Tier 8 delves. Tier 8 is an important threshold for delves for three main reasons:
- Bountiful Delves Tier 8 and above drop Champion 2/6 gear.
- The
Trovehunter’s Bounty will drop Hero 1/6 gear on tier 8+ - Great Vault will drop Hero 1/6 gear for completing Delves Tier 8+
The recommended item level for Tier 7 delves is 235, so players should take their time with it or gear up before they attempt it!
