Over the years, mounts have become as much a core part of WoW as any other major activity pillar. The collection of these steeds (flying or otherwise) is a major motivator for any content in the game. With players’ collections ever-expanding and new ones coming in every single patch, let’s take a look at some of the most sought-after mounts players are still hunting today.
From Ease-of-Access to Maximum Rarity
That’s right, it’s time for another hirumaredx video! You’ll definitely recognize quite a few mounts in the video below. Some are here due to the relative ease of farming one (but still face a low drop percentage), like with Karazhan’s two undead horse mounts from Attumen. These are easy bosses to get to, as fast as a few minutes with the right portals, and despite being around a long time (TBC and Legion), there’s still many players that don’t have them.
Then there’s the roamers, with one of the most notorious ones on the list among them. You’ll find plenty of reddit posts about the 
Reins of the Time-Lost Proto-Drake to this day, as players can’t believe their luck when they run into one. Another one in this category is the less well-known 
Fabious, which actually requires a selfie taken with him! There’s even achievement-based mounts on the list, like the 
Prestigious Bloodforged Courser, which requires a whole lot of PvPing to acquire.
And then there’s the main group, the really, really cool and iconic boss drops that you just have to have. The amount of runs made for 
Invincible’s Reins and 
Ashes of Al’ar alone are probably equal to most of the rest combined. However, the final two mounts in the top 10 below aren’t any of the ones mentioned above. Can you guess what they are?
