A new creature spotted in Midnight has quickly become a fan-favourite in the community—and now people are begging Blizzard to turn it into a mount.
The towering mushroom-inspired creature, the Fungal Strider, wanders through the Harandar zone. Players were quick to spot the resemblance to the beloved “longboi” mount, the 
Trader’s Gilded Brutosaur, equipped with an Auction House vendor and a mailbox.
Over on Reddit, one player summed up the mood perfectly: “Blizzard!!! Give me the Fungus Longboy and my life is yours!”
Now, players are joking—and half-seriously campaigning—about what this mount could look like. Requests range from Auction House, transmog, bank, and repairs, to portal mages and ride-along capability on its head.
Others joked about the inevitable price tag if Blizzard ever made it real. But despite the sarcasm, many players admitted they would probably buy it anyway!
Side note: getting killed by a Fungal Strider rewards you with the achievement, 
“Hold aggro, I got this”.
