Season 2 of Midnight is starting in a little over a week. Along with it, a new Prey season is starting! We’re taking a look at all the new rewards you can obtain in this season, from the mysterious nemesis known as Ral’kala, as well as going over the Preyhunter’s Journey!
Ral’kala, Terror of the Isle
The biggest feature of Prey in Season 2 of Midnight is Ral’kala, a new Prey nemesis found in the Coiled Isle. You will learn about Ral’kala at the seasonal Prey questline starting with Prey: A Slithering Threat.
To summon Ral’kala, players need to bring in a total of 100x 
Ossified Relic to Hunted Braziers visible in the Coiled Isle while in a Nightmare Prey Hunt. With Season 2, you can also choose to toggle Nightmare Prey hunt mode in the Coiled Isle via 
Prey: Curse of the Isle, a curse that enables Nightmare Prey affixes while not actively engated in a Prey hunt. You will learn how to engage with this during the previously mentioned seasonal questline.
Ral’kala can drop the following cosmetic items:
- The
Hexflame Reaver mount. - The
Pale Hexscale battle pet. - The
Preyhunter’s Masquerade toy. - The
Hooked Net Trap housing decor.
In addition to these items, Ral’kala has achievements for killing him multiple times:
One, Two, Ral’kala’s Coming for You: Defeat Ral’kala in the Coiled Isle. - Reward:

Preyhunter’s Journey in Midnight Season 2
A new season for Midnight also means a new season for Prey! Rewards for this season include a mount, a bunch of housing decor, items to speed up Prey progress, and improvements to Ral’kala’s summoning in the Coiled Isle.
