We have a lot more data in, and it’s time we take a look at the proper logs for the first week of the pre-patch! Unholy’s performance grabbed it a massive nerf in the hotfixes a few days ago, but it’s still at the very top thanks to earlier logs. Other than that, obviously the spec revamps aren’t fully realized without Midnight itself, so the below rankings aren’t necessarily that indicative of what it’s going to be like in the new expansion, especially with the three new raids. But it’s always fun to take a look at where things stand now, and in chaotic times like pre-patches, it’s even more fun!
Note: We are using normalized scores instead of raw DPS for the Warcraft Logs rankings. Normalized scores take into account the outlier boss fights where certain specs could stack massive DPS (due to the nature of the fight, whether it’s AoE spam or something else), which would then affect their overall score for the whole raid.
Mythic
Overall Damage 95th Percentile
The top percentiles don’t look that different from the day 1 logs. Unholy is still miles ahead, but Devastation’s lead got a lot shorter, as Survival is catching up and pulling away from the rest of the pack. Fury pushed past Affliction, but just barely, with Subtlety gaining two spots right behind them. Windwalker gains a few spots as well, with Shadow dropping to 9th. At the end of the top 10, we see Havoc edging out Elemental, with Arms close by.
Devourer makes its appearance in the middle of the chart, almost exactly, down in 14th place. The bottom of the chart is once again reserved for two Warlocks and a Mage, except this time it’s Fire down in the dumps!
Overall Damage All Percentiles
The generalist chart looks a little different, with Survival getting the better of the Evoker and grabbing 2nd place. Havoc is also significantly higher, along with Arcane, while Windwalker is lower.
Boss Only Damage All Percentiles
The direct boss damage looks almost exactly the same as the overall chart, with very few exceptions.
Individual Bosses
Fractillus

Nexus-King Salhadaar

Dimensius, the All-Devouring

Heroic Overall Damage All Percentiles
That one Frost Dk that very clearly exploited and threw the entire chart off on day 1 is gone now and we have a clear picture. And that picture is… pretty much the same as Mythic.
