We have one particularly big mover in the post-tuning shakeup, as Arcane is looking to take things over after its second round of buffs! We also see Unholy surge despite the small nerf it received, as the specs shuffle around. As usual, the changes are a lot smaller than in raids, in part due to the points system used here. Let’s take a look!
Warcraft Logs Points
The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing. This means that they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor. It is a much, much smaller factor, however. It grants only a few points for significantly faster completions compared to just any in-time finish. We’re also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity. This means that the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.
95th percentile DPS
Unholy may have caught a bit of a nerf in the tuning, but it’s actually risen in the rankings here. It took 2nd away from Fire, which also lost another spot to its fellow mage. But the big mover of the post-tuning week shows itself very quickly, as we have a new Mage taking things over! Arcane has been surging in raids as well and landed in 3rd here, a two-spot bump after the already impressive leap from the first set of buffs. Fire doesn’t go too far, despite being passed by Unholy and its fellow Mage, as the all-time king of dungeons lands in 4th. Assassination rises a couple of spots as well, sitting between the two most stable specs in the top 10, Elemental and Marksmanship. Feral drops two spots into 8th, just ahead of Enhancement, which is doing very well in that crucial 7-10 key bracket.
All Percentiles
Even more surging coming from Unholy here, as it takes the top spot from Balance! Arcane grabs 3rd here as well, gaining an even bigger 6 spots, and we may be seeing the spec get even higher as more players flock to it after the double round of buffs. Marksmanship rises as well, pushing past Assassination, as Feral drops three spots into 7th. Retribution gains 4 spots in 8th, as its buffs do have an effect here, moving ahead of Demonology. The Shamans cluster together, with Enhancement getting the final top 10 spot, and Elemental being left out in the cold.
Specific Keys
Enhancement is on top of the 7-10 key range, with Windwalker putting up some solid results in there as well. In the high keys we see exactly why Arcane’s surging after the buffs, as it’s sitting on top.

Very High Key Raw DPS Numbers
Note: We’re also taking a look at the raw damage numbers from Mythicstats. They take the top runs for extremely high keys (+13-19) from WarcraftLogs and list the overall DPS for the dungeon, which includes non-combat time as well. They’re ranked by the average DPS numbers, with the very top of the top shown next to it.
We see Unholy is on top in the raw numbers as well, with Marksmanship doing better here. Retribution is the biggest outlier, coming in 4th. Devastation is doing a lot better as well, with the top Mages losing out the most.
