War Within Season 2 Mythic+ DPS, Tank, and Healer Log Rankings, Week 10: Augment!

Staff's Avatar by Staff

We have a stable top 4, but a whole lot of action after that. Augmentation, Retribution, and Outlaw are the stories of the week, with Guardian bursting back after the buffs for tanks. There’s a lot to get to, so let’s dive right in.

Warcraft Logs Points

The below logs are based on POINTS, and not actual damage or healing. This means that they log the timed completion for the specs, with higher keys getting more points, obviously. The time in which the dungeon is completed is also a factor. It is a much, much smaller factor, however. It grants only a few points for significantly faster completions compared to just any in-time finish. We’re also using the Normalized Aggregate Scores numbers, for clarity. This means that the top spec is marked as 100 and then the rest are ranked in relation to that peak point.

95th percentile DPS

The tuning didn’t seem to matter much for the top 4 specs, as they’re almost identical to the previous week. Feral in No.4 should be doing better this week, however, as its tuning buff did not go live as intended, and only arrived with this week’s reset. We do see movement right after that, as Outlaw has been having a really good week all over, gaining a huge 10 spots to land in 5th here, without any buffs. Right after that, we have a big buff recipient, as Retribution rises four spots into 6th, pushing past Assassination.

Augmentation is the big story of the week, however, as its third buff did the trick, getting it into the top 10! The Evoker finds itself in 9th spot, rising an insane 14 spots from near the bottom of the chart. We already saw its population tripling a few days ago, and this will definitely push it even higher. Marksmanship holds on to the final top 10 spot, holding off a rising buffed Arms. The bottom 3 remains the same, with two Hunters and a Priest, as Fury takes Augmentation’s spot just outside, despite its buffs.

All Percentiles

It’s Paladin time in the overall chart as Ret makes a name for itself, only gaining one spot but moving into the top 5. Feral might take it down this week with its late buff, however, as it’s sitting really close behind. Enhancement also rises a spot, but has to look out for Augmentation, which gets even higher here, landing in 8th with an even more insane 15-spot leap. Assassination barely manages to keep Outlaw at bay as the two Rogues clash at the bottom of the top 10. Frost Mage keeps its dead-last spot, with the two Hunters now joining the bottom 3 in this chart as well.

Specific Keys

Feral remains dominant in the 7s and 10s, and that’s before the 3% buff! Havoc and Enhancement are also hot stuff in that key range, with the Shaman doing very well in 12s as well. Balance comes out to play in the high keys, joining Arcane at the top, with Enhancement still staying strong even here.

Tanks

The tanks got a few changes in the tuning, and it really shows. Guardian took its 5% damage buff and ran with it, rising into 3rd from dead-last! Blood moves into 2nd as Prot Paladin drops down to 6th.

Healers

Quite literally nothing changed for the healers. Despite Holy Priest’s 4% buff, it remains down in the penultimate spot, just slightly moving more ahead of Preservation.

Very High Key Raw DPS Numbers

Note: We’re also taking a look at the raw damage numbers from Mythicstats. They take the top runs for extremely high keys (+13-19) from WarcraftLogs and list the overall DPS for the dungeon, which includes non-combat time as well. They’re ranked by the average DPS numbers, with the very top of the top shown next to it.

Paladin is pushing even higher here, making it into the top 3 with an average 3.1 million DPS and moving 3 spots up! Outlaw also continues its very impressive week, taking 4th and rising a crazy 12 spots. Devastation drops precipitously, 10 spots down to 12th, while Augmentation remains down near the bottom, but gains 0.2 million DPS.
