Here’s a very impressive fan concept, as the Shadowlands Venthyr faction gets some pretty cool armor sets, one for each class!
Many Variations
Jolly-Location-7436 aka Magmajuiceart took on a big project and nailed it, if I do say so myself. 13 individual armor sets, one for each class, all themed around the Venthyr’s afterlife party. We’ve all already seen the gothic, gargoyle-laden armor that’s in the game for the faction already, but these expand on that and add quite a bit of originality as well. It’s still all red though. With inspiration like Bram Stoker’s (movie) Dracula armor, you can see how they came out so great.
Top row: Druid, Rogue, Monk, Demon Hunter, Hunter, Shaman
Bottom row: Warlock, Mage, Priest, Death Knight, Paladin, Warrior
There’s actually a lot more to the project, as each class also got four color variations, as you can see from the (missing above) Evoker!
The Druid also has some impressive color options.
You can find all the sets on Magmajuice’s Artstation here. They also sport different angles, as well as cloaked and uncloaked variations.
This isn’t the first time we’ve seen a project like this either. A long time ago, Handclaw made class armor sets for each race, basically giving everyone heritage armor. You can check out the giant 189-set undertaking here.
That’s not to detract from Magmajuice’s efforts here, certainly. There are so many variations for the 13 armor sets, it’s clear a lot of work went into this. Hopefully, we see other Shadowlands factions and just generally other themes from them as well!
