Your commute just got significantly more ominous…
Blizzard has once again teamed up with Waze, this time to bring Xal’atath’s voice to the navigation app. The Harbinger of the Void can now guide you through traffic, roundabouts, and motorway merges—because apparently regular directions weren’t dramatic enough!
The official X World of Warcraft account summed it up perfectly: “Who *wouldn’t* want the Harbinger of the Void giving you directions?” Honestly? Fair point.
You can swap your standard car icon for a sleek Blue Dragonhawk, so other drivers will see you soaring instead of crawling through rush hour. You can also set your Waze “mood” to either Light or Void, letting fellow drivers know exactly which force is influencing your lane choices that day.
If Void whispers aren’t your thing, there’s a more grounded option too. Thrall is also available as a navigation voice, offering a steadier, more reassuring presence behind the wheel.
It’s a small feature, but it’s a fun one—especially with Midnight on the horizon. Blizzard clearly isn’t missing any opportunity to keep the Void whispering in our ears!
