Prices of Housing Decor items have been a topic of discussion ever since Player Housing went live on the Midnight Early Access. Players would specifically talk about how decor items purchased with currencies such as 
Voidlight Marl are prohibitively priced, especially if you wanted to purchase multiples of the bigger decorations for your house.
Voidlight Marl Decor Prices Are Drastically Down
A hotfix that went live earlier today fixes these issues, at least partially! Prices on Housing Decor items purchased with Voidlight Marl are now much cheaper, as stated by Principal Designer Jesse Kurlancheek.
Pricing of Housing Decor items are now as follows:
- Items that previously cost 750 Voidlight Marl are now down to either 150 or 250 Voidlight Marl, depending on whether they’re small or medium items.
- Items that previously cost 2500 Voidlight Marl are now down to 500 Voidlight Marl.
This is certainly a step in the right direction for Housing Decor’s pricing. Maybe we will see reductions to 
Resonance Crystals decor costs next?
