Big news for Player Housing fans: Blizzard has confirmed that mailboxes are now functional! They’re available on the Midnight Beta right now, and will arrive on live servers when Midnight launches.
Mailboxes join a small but expanding list of functional decor items, like cookpots and the 
Hearthlight Armillary, earned at House Level 6, which lets you control the lighting in your house. It’s a small quality of life change, but it makes a noticeable difference—especially when mailing dyes and materials between alts for decor crafting.
Could Blizzard be hinting at a shift toward making Player Housing more functional? Either way, mailboxes are a solid start, showing that Blizzard is thinking beyond purely decorative spaces and giving players a reason to spend more time in their homes.
