A growing number of players are calling on Blizzard to reverse what they believe is a premature removal of one of The War Within’s most sought-after solo achievements.
With the launch of the Midnight pre-patch, the achievement,
Let Me Solo Her: Nexus-Princess Ky’veza, was moved to Feats of Strength. This means the achievement is no longer obtainable. However, its group counterpart,
Pruning the Princess, is still fully active and earnable in-game.
Why Players Are Upset
- The group achievement is still obtainable, creating what many are calling a clear inconsistency. If a solo player defeats Ky’veza right now, they still earn the group achievement, but are denied the solo version.
- There was no formal “last chance” warning, unlike Ahead of the Curve or Cutting Edge achievements.
One post on Blizzard forums describes it as a “synchronization error in the pre-patch data”. Now, players are urging Blizzard to hotfix the achievement back into the active category until Midnight officially launches.
For now, the achievement remains unavailable—but community pressure is mounting. Whether this was intentional or an oversight, the clock may already be ticking for anyone hoping to get the achievement before Midnight launches!
